Service Activation Request for Funding

Service has always been part of what it means to be a part of this country. Neighbors showing up for neighbors, communities coming together across difference, people doing extraordinary things for strangers - that thread runs through 250 years of this country's story. This summer, as America turns 250, Jews and their communities across the country are bringing that practice into this national moment by serving together, bridging divides, and addressing loneliness.

Funding Opportunity:
  • Repair is offering $250 microgrants to Jewish organizations for service programs happening June 10–July 10, 2026 to honor America's 250th.
  • To be eligible, programs need at least 15 volunteers and must include meaningful Jewish learning alongside the service experience.
  • All applications for funding are due by June 6th.

If you are located in a community where we have a local team, your application will be managed by our local staff. This localized approach allows for more personalized support, deeper collaboration, and alignment with the unique needs and opportunities in each community.
Join Us in Activating Jewish Communities Through Service
We invite you to be part of something extraordinary. Repair the World’s National Days of Jewish Service (NDJS) offers three annual service activations designed to fund and empower Jewish organizations and individuals to create meaningful change in your communities.

Centered around key moments in the Jewish calendar, NDJS offers the framework, funding, educational tools, and community-building activities to inspire volunteers in meaningful experiences that strengthen local communities and foster global Jewish unity. Join thousands of volunteers worldwide in impactful acts of service and learning that celebrate our shared values while tackling today’s most urgent issues.

A Note About Local Community Funding: If you are located in a community where we have a local Repair the World team, your application will be managed by our local staff who will determine the appropriate next steps for your program and the associated funding amount. This localized approach allows for more personalized support, deeper collaboration, and alignment with the unique needs and opportunities in each community.

Our inspiring goal is to activate 10,000 volunteers across these three activations, fostering impactful acts of service and learning while uniting the global Jewish community through our shared values.
