MLK Serve & Learn: Farm Fix-Up @ East New York Farms!

This MLK Weekend of Service, deepen your commitment to justice by reflecting on the enduring legacy of Dr. King’s fight for civil rights and learning about its connection to the ongoing struggle for food security in our communities. Turn your learning into meaningful action at ENYF! on Monday, January 20th, and help support their work in food justice and environmental education. 

Volunteers will help revamp and tile the outdoor kitchen, build new garden beds, mulch  pathways with woodchips, organize storage areas, and sift and bag compost. 

IMPORTANT DETAILS: Open to adults and teens. Dress in warm clothing and shoes that you do not mind getting dirty. The farm is quite windy. Drinking water, gloves, and tools will be provided. This event will take place outdoors. No pets, please!
